Let’s Hear it for Sister Pastor

The poem I opened up with is,
 The Pastor’s Wife
We often hear of Heroes
on the news at night,
How someone went into a fire
To save someone else's life.
But, there's another hero
that we never hear about,
Though Her love and dedication
are never in a doubt.
Often took for granted...
Never glorified,
Still she keeps on going
for the person by her side.
She stands beside him everyday
no matter what ... is thrown their way,
For he was called from above
To spread the message of "GOD'S LOVE".
And just as he was called...
She was hand picked too.
for it takes someone Special
to do what she must do.
And thou he may get the Glory
and he may get the Fame,
She will stand beside him in Love
and Help him just the same.
She's the person he turns to
when he needs a friend,
She will always be there till the
"Glorious End".
I would like to take this moment
to introduce to you,
a LOVELY unsung Hero for whom
GOD hand-picked to spend Her life
as The Pastor's WIFE.

This episode is dedicated to our Pastor’s wives! March is Pastor Wife Appreciation Month, and we want to give honor where honor is due!
I would like to personally thank and take time to appreciate the following for this special month!
  1. My Wife Kimberly Marshall if it wasn’t for her there is no way I could do this!
  2. Sister Brooke Comer the First Lady of our home church back in New Castle Indiana
  3. Sister Penny Carpenter the First Lady of the ALJC Thank you so much for standing beside our Bishop as he leads the Charge of this organization!
  4. Sister Fallon Erickson the wife of our Regional Field Supervisor. Thank you so much for sacrificing your time with Bro Erickson with all of our Asia Pacific Missionaries. With the time difference I know it is not easy hearing his phone going off at 3 am.
  5. Sister Jamie Ball the wife of our World Missions Director. Thank you for giving up your time with Bro Ball to travel, and to win souls all around this globe!

We have great leaders, and great Support system!
The saying goes, “behind every good man is a good woman”, but the Behind needs to be Beside as we walk hand in hand to fulfill the calling that God has placed on us.
God doesn’t call a man he calls a family!

A Beautiful Day in the South Pacific
We have had an amazing week!
We made another trip to Lae to be in service with Pastor Philip Kaman at the 3 mile church.
Sister Marshall, Ezekiel, Adrianna, Veronica, and Joseph made the trip to Lae, and we met up with Willie once we got there.
I have been to the pacific several times, but never been in the pacific ocean. I told the family before we head back I want to go down and put my finger in the water so I could say I have been in the Pacific Ocean. I have also always wanted to baptize someone in the ocean.
I have baptized people in all different kinds of places, from tubs, to troths, to creeks, to rivers, and the list goes on, but I have never baptized anyone in the ocean.
After the service we had 3 who wanted to get baptized, and when I asked the Pastor where he took people he let me know that we would be headed to the beach to baptize them!
I got to get in the pacific, way in! Up to my waist, and then I got to baptize 3 precious souls in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins!
God is so good!
I have started a Facebook page to try to streamline, schedule, and not worry about limits, so please be sure to like the new page! It will make things much easier on my end!

Haus Krai Revival

We have had a pretty interesting week.
Over the past week we have laid our sweet Sister Bima to rest.
Sister Bima was the first woman in PNG to get baptized in Jesus Name, and to be filled with the Holy Ghost. She had a smile that would light up a room, and such a sweet Spirit! She will be missed, and her legacy will live on in our hearts forever!
During the Haus Krai, (House Cry), or Funeral Service God showed up in a mighty way.
We had a prophecy come forth that rocked us to our core!
We also are publicly announcing our fall deputation that will be starting in October of 2022 after our national conference here in PNG in late September.
We are awaiting response on a few people for our National Conference that will be September 14, 15, and 16, and will announce who will be attending at a later date.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
Stay Blessed,
Bro Marshall

Thank You For Your Continued Prayers and Support

We are so thankful for each and every person that has committed to take on the Marshall Family for the next year!
Last week we talked about the importance of the Missions Commitment Service, and how we couldn’t do what we do without you!
We are so blessed, and honored to be part of such a wonderful organization!
We love and appreciate you all, and the best part of the ALJC is we are not just part of a wonderful organization, but we are all family!
Over the next several months we will be continuing the work on the Bible College, and will update everyone with photos, and progress as we go!
Our son has started his own podcast, please be sure to head on over to iTunes, and check it out!
“The Positive Outlook Podcast” hosted by Ezekiel Marshall will bless you!
Stay Blessed!

Missions Commitment Service 2022

This week we’re going to focus on the missions commitment service. Our missions commitment service is held once a year this year it lands on March 6, 2022, and we are so thankful for the missions commitment service. The missions commitment service has been a huge game changer in the way that we get to world missions, instead of just giving once a month or once a year, we are able to commit to a missionary and their family for one full year. This is a way for us to be able to focus and to have that Missionary‘s family hanging on our refrigerator for an entire year. When I am on deputations I always say that it is very important that we are praying for our missionaries it’s even more important that we pray for missionaries then to give financially. As I said in this weeks podcast whenever we get the mission commitment cards it gives us a face for the family, it gives us the place that they are stationed, and it also gives the region they live in. It is very important that we pray for the missionaries, the region, and the country that Missionary is in. It makes a great difference when there are people praying for us whenever they are far away, and whenever they wake up in the middle of the night it may be the middle of the day wherever that Missionary is. We would like to thank you for your continued prayers and support, without faithful prayers and faithful giving missionaries wouldn’t be able to be in the fields that they are in. There’s an old saying, “ some go by giving, while others give by going.” It takes everyone in order to make world missions work, it takes people going, as well as people giving. This Sunday when you get your missions commitment card, make sure that you go into the service in a mind of prayer. When you get that card, please make sure that you hang the picture somewhere you look at often, and pray for the missionary that you committed to.
From the Marshall family, we would just like to say thank you for your continued prayers and support. It is through your prayers and your giving we are able to do what we do each and every day.
Each mission field is different, and we need people willing and able to go to every place in this world. The other day on a live stream, I shared the gentleman we were able to meet at a service station here in Papua New Guinea. Now he is coming this Saturday with his family and we were able to witness, the plan of New Birth salvation. Now this Trinitarian Pastor is going to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins this coming Saturday.
We are so blessed and thankful to be able to do what we do, God gets all the glory.
As always stay blessed,
Brother Marshall
